This is to inform all prospective UTME and DE candidates who applied for admission
into Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) to check their invitation letters via
www.atbu.edu.ng/screening and appear for the physical screening exercise
scheduled to take place from Monday 8th to Saturday 13th May, 2023.
About ATBU
Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) is a federal university located in Bauchi, Nigeria. It was established in 1980 as the Federal University of Technology, Bauchi (FUTB), before being renamed in 1991 in honor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Nigeria’s first Prime Minister.
ATBU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in a wide range of fields such as engineering, natural sciences, management sciences, environmental technology, and agriculture. The university also has a number of research centers and institutes, including the Center for Energy Research and Training, the Center for Entrepreneurship Development, and the Center for Information Technology and Development.

Successful candidates are expected to come along with the followings:
- Jamb admission letter,
- Original copies of their credentials,
- Online screening acknowledgment slip,
- Invitation for physical screening,
- Birth certificate or declaration of age,
- Downloaded O’ level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and Grade II) from the internet
- at not more than two sittings,
- Indigene letter,
- NCE/ND/IJMB results for DE candidates.
- All applicants are to report to their respective College/Faculties.
NOTE: Any candidate who fails to appear within the time allotted for the physical
screening will be replaced immediately in addition change of course will not be
entertained after screening, please.
