JAMB has finally commenced the online registration of 2021 UTME interested candidates. Follow the 2022 registration procedure below
Initially, The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB delayed the registration due to integration of the newly introduced NIN.
Candidates can now register for 2022 UTME Registration regarding the approved registration Centres in every State.

JAMB 2022 Registration Exercise Procedure
Firstly, Applicants must be have registered with National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and obtain National Identification Number otherwise known as NIN, We have already explained What NIN is all about, click here to know more.
Incase of issue relating to forgetting NIN, there is opportunity to retrieve the NIN back.

In the Second Stage, candidates are required to register their profile in JAMB database, to successfully register, follow the guidelines as stated :
Candidates sends the word NIN space then eleven digits NIN to 55019 from his/her phone eg [NIN (space) 00123456789]. Candidate receives his or her profile code of 10 characters and the registered name with NIMC on his or her phone.
ii. Candidate presents the profile code to the point of procurement of form (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, Switches, USSD Partners). The form- ePIN is then sent as text message to the candidates Phone number.
iii. Candidate presents the ePIN and NIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Centre for registration.
Application cannot be completed until the candidate’s finger print is verified. Successful verification authorises to print his or her e-registration slip.
Any change a candidate wants to do on the registration data : his or her finger print must be authenticated.
NB : One cell [mobile] number [SIM] can be used by one candidate only. The cell phone phone number used for the text message is automatically tied to candidates name and will be used in all communications related to his or her 2021 application, Examination and Admission.
NB : The SIM – NUMBER used, it is of utmost importance for subsequent communication.
Loss Profile Retrieval
Thirdly on the procedure, explained how to retrieve loss or mistaken Profile code.
To retrieve a lost Profile Code, send [RESEND] to 55019 as text message from the same mobile number
ii. Candidate can reset lost or forgotten Profile Password on their registered cell phone by sending [password] space [email address] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number
[Free Complaint] Ticketing
Last on the list, outlines the need to contact JAMB through their supporting platform.
For ALL complaints on JAMB processes, candidates can create a support ticket at (support.jamb.gov.ng) with his/her email address registered on the Board’s site. The candidate then provides his/her name, phone number and the nature of the issue, select a complaint area on a drop-down and then summarize the nature of the complaint.
