We are currently seeking a Banksman to join our rapidly growing team.

Description:

The Integrated Warehouse Specialist is tasked with managing all warehouse activities. Direct staff and operations regarding receiving, warehousing and distribution of all materials.

Objectives:

  • Set objectives and strategies for department development
  • Optimize strategic benefits of current inventory program (Oracle NetSuite)
  • Optimize department budget and personnel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate stock levels of Fleet, Technical and Facility materials to ensure consistent operational readiness
  • With assistance from Department section leads, implement min and max units on hand coordinating with Procurement for order lead times ensuring products are available in a timely manner
  • Develop manufacturer cross-references for compatible parts.
  • Track all material usage and create look ahead order schedules
  • Ensure all documenting procedures are followed to ensure seamless data tracking
  • Integrate warehouse data processing with procurement and finance departments
  • Track and maintain department KPI (Key Performance Indicators) data
  • Ensure GYSBI occupational health and safety regulations are followed
  • Monitor staff performance and progress
  • Create and retain material SDS file for warehoused chemical products
  • Implement and maintain formal inventory counts with periodic cycle counts of warehoused goods
  • Timely and accurate reporting on scheduled and ad-hoc basis
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and professional workspace
  • Ensure proper storage, segregation and parts preservations requirements are understood and implemented
  • Communicate with all GYSBI departments
  • Maximize available warehouse space utilization
  • Manage training of warehouse staff
  • Endeavor to learn/memorize associated parts with equipment utilized at the facility
  • Make recommendations for improvement to system and/or products to management
  • Other duties as may be assigned by management

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of industrial (oil & gas) warehouse management experience
  • Degree in Logistics, supply chain management or another related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of Oracle program experience
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Available to work extended hours
