The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has suspended the move to use the National Identity Number [NIN] for 2020 UTME Registration.

The statement reads “NIN IS SUSPENDED FOR 2020 REGISTRATION. CANDIDATES ARE TO ONLY SEND THEIR NAMES TO 55019 TO CREATE PROFILE. NO NEED FOR NIN FOR 2020 REGISTRATION”
Recall that House of Representatives has asked to suspend the use of NIN for UTME registration 2020 because of difficulties and over stressing of candidates given approval only if 80 percent of UTME candidates can be able to obtain the NIN.
