FUTA Rejects Fake Admission Cut-off Mark For 2020/2021

The management Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA has reacted to the latest publication by some people about the institution admission cut-off mark for the 2020/2021 session stating that it is totally fake.

The Information below published on this page six weeks ago has been repeated due to the unrelenting activities of some unauthorized persons making bogus claims on the admission process of the University . Kindly be guided

The attention of the Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA has been drawn to the circulation of a purported cut off points for the 2020/2021 admission exercise. The bogus Cut off points list is being circulated on the Social media and some media platforms. For the avoidance of doubt FUTA has not set any parameters for departmental admission requirements and that for the University for the 2020/2021 academic session . Members of the public particularly candidates seeking admission to the University are advised to disregard the misleading information and the bogus Cut off points list.

Information relating to the admission process including requirements for admission will be disseminated through the University website, www.futa.edu.ng , University Facebook Page , FUTA Radio and selected National Dailies at the right time .
Again , candidates and the general public are strongly advised not to enter into correspondence or interaction with persons who claim to represent the University on admission matters. There is absolutely nothing like that.


The admission process in FUTA cannot be manipulated internally or externally as it is completely merit driven.
